DOTS 1 - Mono Screen Print with Copper, Indigo, Avocado & Oak Gall Inks

This original work is mono screen printed using avocado, indigo, oak gall & copper inks. Printed using a biodegradable, plant-based modifier onto thick, handmade card stock. All prints packaged in biodegradable film & I use no solvents to expose/clean my screens. Price inc P&P.

A feature of mono-printing is that each print is unique and that there are variations in tone, texture and colour between individual prints. Each ‘Dots’ print is listed individually so do look at the whole range before choosing your favourite. Size 25cm x 40cm.

Inks:

• Grey/Black: knopper oak galls, from an oak tree in Reddish, Stockport
• Red: Avocado stones (avocados from Morrisons, reddish)
• Blue: GOTS certified (global organic textile stanard) indigo dye extract
• Turquoise: Copper scraps from my dad's garage

Although every effort has been made to protect the colours from UV degradation, plant-based inks are not as lightfast as plastic-based inks. You should not display this print in direct sunlight.
