Stockport Oak Tree Ink

This witchy, black gall ink dries to a rich, velvety finish and is made from trees in four Stockport parks (Adswood, Brookfields, Hollywood & Vernon). It's wonderful to draw with using dip pens, brushes or - my favourite - sharpened sticks. Oak gall ink develops and darkens as it reacts with the paper it's used on, with the pigment drying in wonderful, textured ways. Shake gently before use.

This 50ml bottle comes with a mini zine with pictures of the exact trees it's made from, as well as a QR code linking to Google Maps, in case you want to visit them yourself to collect your own oak galls.

Ingredients: Water, Oak Gall Extract, Ferrous Sulphate (~0.28%), Gum Arabic, Ethanol.
