‘Yes’ Framed Print & Stitch Panel

‘Yes’ - screen print to wool melton with giant embroidery loops in cotton. Wool melton is one of my favourite textiles to print on - it is really soft and bouncy which gives the ink colours a lot of depth and richness. I made this as a kind of wall prompt after my partner and I decided to have a Year of Saying Yes; where we undid old ideas about ourselves and challenged ourselves to say ‘Yes’ to things that we might have previously avoided.
